Color Testing - Cherry Blossoms

Spring around here is lovely! The best part of the season is the amazing cherry blossom trees that suddenly bloom!

On my break I stopped to take these pictures. Don't the soft pink blossoms contrast nicely with the clear blue sky?

Here's a fun Küler palette inspired by the beautiful cherry blossoms. Enjoy!

Color Testing - St Patricks Day Palette

Happy St Patricks Day! Here's two fun color palettes using Adobe Küler. Everyone loves green!

Enjoy your day! One of my kids at work told me that today is "when little tiny kids steal gold money".

Colors of the Sea - Kuler Palette - Beautiful Seaweed

I've long been a fan of seaweed, especially its many colors and the way it becomes semi-transparent when held up to the light. Today on the beach I scouted around and found a fantastic amount of different gorgeous seaweed (hello West Coast!) that I had to photograph. This weeks Kuler palette (link here!) is all about the colors of the sea. It features pinks, reds, greens and some coral colors, as well as a few brown and beige colors.

Color Testing - Pantone Scarf

For this weeks Color Testing palette I'm featuring this beautiful Pantone scarf we found at a thrift store. It's not officially Pantone of course, but Pantone items seem to be all the rage right now. You find mugs and pencils and notebooks, so why not scarves?

Get the lovely Adobe Kuler Pantone scarf palette here

The great thing about this scarf is that not only does it keep you super warm but it goes with practically everything. Plus it will brighten up any drab winter day.
