Captured these silhouettes of the kids trying to fly a kite on the beach. The fun really is in the struggle to get it up, because once it's flying strong all you do is stand there. Luckily we didn't have that problem today, and the kites never really made it up for more than a minute or two. But the kids had fun showing each other the best ways to run with the kite and launch it into the air. They even tried going higher and higher in order to catch a better wind.
